John Parcell, former board director of Reuters Group and ex-CEO of Reuters Information, is the new chairman of TheBullionDesk, an online provider of metals market prices, news and commentary, officials tell DWT. The company operates TheBullionDesk.com, a Web site for the precious metals markets, and BaseMetals.com, a site for producers, traders and industrial consumers of base metals. Parcell joined Reuters in 1969, became a board member in 1996 and abruptly left Reuters
