The Susquehanna Investment Group has named its first chief information officer, wooing Hylton Socher away from Nationsbanc Capital Markets. Socher has been asked to provide long-term strategic direction for Susquehanna's systems administrators and software engineers--staff who previously worked independently, reporting into managing director Eric Brooks. Brooks maintains his position and Socher now reports to him. Before coming to Susquehanna, Socher was managing director of traded products
