Data Broadcasting Hires Chase H&Q to Add Value to New Retail Products

NEW YORK--Data Broadcasting Corp.(DBC) has hired Chase H&Q to help it examine ways to accelerate growth in its retail business and to enhance shareholder value by acquisitions, mergers, an IPO or other business combinations.

Chase H&Q, a product of the Chase Manhattan Bank’s 1998 acquisition of Hambrecht & Quist, acts as an intermediary between growth companies and growth investors, raising capital for and offering advice to entrepreneurs and the companies they create.
