HSBC Rolls Out Fidessa, FIX Platform

LONDON—HSBC is putting the final touch on its global deployment of new front-office trading software based on technology from Fidessa, officials tell DWT.
"We have deployed a globally replicated front-office platform for all equity order routing and trading for several hundred staff in 15 locations in just 18 months from a standing start," says Kevin Bourne, managing director and global head of equities execution at HSBC.
The new front-office software allows traders at HSBC to undertake cash
