BoA Securities launches e-trading

LAUNCH | BANK’S CLIENTS TO CONNECT TO E-TRADING PLATFORM

NEW YORK -- Banc of America Securities, a unit of Bank of America, is forming an electronic trading services (ETS) group to develop and launch electronic trading systems for its institutional clients.

As part of its efforts to enter the electronic trading market, the firm has nabbed Rob Flatley to serve as managing director and head of marketing, support, and strategic alliances at the new ETS unit. Former chief operating officer at major buy-side order management system (OMS) vendor Macgregor
