Data management services provider GoldenSource has announced a tie-up with Italian software and services company CAD IT to integrate their respective data platforms.

CAD IT's Area Finanza platform users may now use GoldenSource's enterprise data management (EDM) service as security master. The partnership also ensures automatic upgrades for data feed changes, according to officials at both companies.

"We have seen a growth in market demand for solutions that help financial institutions improve their data management practice in the areas of reference data, pricing and corporate actions," says Paolo Dal Cortivo, CEO of CAD IT. "Working with GoldenSource means we can offer clients a more comprehensive package to manage those data more effectively. It's important that firms are able to handle multiple data sources, especially those working across asset classes."
