Survey: Asset Managers Lack Confidence in Own Data Quality

Almost 70% don't believe they have access to quality data

The buy side believes that data quality is of prime importance, but industry participants lack confidence that their organizations can ensure consistent data across the system.

This was a major finding of a survey conducted by SimCorp, a provider of investment management solutions to the buy side, the results of which were released in November.

The survey polled 58 individuals from 47 buy-side firms across North America who participated in a webinar run by SimCorp and AIM Software.
