European, US Risk Stress Testing Guidelines Lead To Automation, New Operations

The stress testing regime that has spurred risk data aggregation efforts is also driving firms to devote more resources to managing the data needed for the testing, according to a survey of risk professionals conducted by Moody's Analytics.

"Stress testing has probably provided a larger incentive to data operations managers in the banks than any other thing in the past 10 years," says David Little, head of US enterprise risk solutions and stress testing at Moody's Analytics.
