DTCC Wins Approval For Japanese Trade Repository

The Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation (DTCC) has become the first company to win approval to operate a trade repository for over-the-counter derivatives trades by market participants in Japan, when reporting begins on 1 April. Japan is the third jurisdiction in which the post-trade services vendor has registered a trade repository, after winning similar mandates in the US and Europe.

The repository, which is based in Tokyo, is being operated by a Japanese subsidiary of the DTCC. It

CME: CFTC OKs clearing move to Google Cloud

The CFTC has given the Chicago-based exchange approval to run its clearing and settlement infrastructure on the Google Cloud Platform, while the exchange and vendor have extended their partnership to last until at least 2037.
