Citi Looks to Enterprise-Wide Standards
LONDON—Citi has implemented a project to define data standards enterprise-wide, helping the organization comply with Basel II and more easily roll-out global solutions, officials tell Inside Reference Data.
The data standards programme, started in late 2005, was introduced in a bid to solve Basel II reporting requirements, requiring firms to report financial data in a more risk-sensitive fashion. Since various business lines had to work together to provide this information, Citi considered it
