Reference Data Glitch Halts Euronext.Liffe

LONDON-Trading and market data distribution on Euronext's derivatives markets ground to a halt early morning Monday, June 4, because of a technical issue with its market surveillance system, forcing the exchange operator to shut down the Euronext.liffe markets for more than four hours.

The problem halted all contracts traded on the financial trading engines component of the Liffe Connect trading platform, resulting in a blackout of market data on all non-equity options contracts. Individual
