Data will be a key theme at this year's Sibos conference in Geneva, according to Herve Valentin, head of reference data at Swift.

Swift, the messaging standards cooperative and industry utility, organizes the event, which is the biggest of its kind for the financial services technology industry. Last year's conference attracted 5,000 attendees and Valentin says this year's event is on track for similar numbers.

While blockchain and cybersecurity are big on the agenda, Valentin says data quality
