Reuters Group Underspends on Project Gazelle

LONDON--Reuters Group released its financial results for 2000, shedding some light on the business transformation initiatives that Peter Job, Reuters' outgoing CEO, made public last February (IMD, Feb. 14, 2000).
In 2000, Reuters spent £139 million on the business transformation project formerly known as Gazelle; that is £11 million below the £150 million detailed a year ago. The spend involved £88 million on new product architecture and £51 million on organization and process transformation
