UK IPUG Election Moves Friedman Into The Top Slot

LONDON--The UK Information Providers User Group (IPUG) has elected Alex Friedman as its new chairperson for 1999/2000. Friedman was appointed in the first election at IPUG in recent years.

IPUG has typically had a clear consensus as to who should be appointed, but an election was held this year as a choice of candidates was put forward. A new chair is appointed every June at the IPUG general meeting.
