Startup Mxnet Offers Market Data Platform For Small Shops

A group of former Reuters, Bridge and Nynex executives have formed Mxnet, a startup that offers small shops a new way of receiving real-time market data. Beginning March 1, Reuters will market Mxnet's service.
Mxnet has installed both a Reuters Triarch 2000 and Bridge/Market Vision platform at its own offices. Customers just need to install desktop hardware and applications software at their sites, and link them to the backbones at Mxnet. The Jersey City-based company is targeting trading floors
