Pearson Buys Dun & Bradstreet's Interactive Data

As expected (IMD, July 17), Dun & Bradstreet Corp. has announced the sale of Interactive Data Services Inc. (IDSI) to U.K.-based newspaper conglomerate Pearson PLC for $201 million dollars. IDSI will be integrated with Pearson's Financial Times-Extel Information Group. As of now the management team at IDSI, including president John Rutherfurd, will remain intact.
