FactSet launches conversational AI for increased productivity

FactSet is set to release a generative AI search agent across its platform in early 2025.

FactSet will integrate conversational artificial intelligence onto its platform in early 2025, with the aim of helping users with pitch decks, research, memos, reports, and other text-intensive tasks. The development is part of the data provider’s year-long “AI Blueprint” outlined last November.

The search agent is based on FactSet Mercury, a chatbot-like interface that uses customized large language models (LLMs) to complete tasks like generating code and summarizing data. Launched in December
