Fidelity’s quantum exploration unites theory and proof
The asset manager and Amazon have teamed to put a quantum twist on machine learning.
Gathered in the chilly Santa Clara Convention Center in Silicon Valley, a group of quantum computing experts from top financial services firms, tech companies, and government organizations imagined the future. It was December 2022, and it was day three of the annual practical quantum computing conference, Q2B, hosted by the Palo Alto-based QC Ware. After two days of talks from executives representing entities like Morgan Stanley, Google, and the US Air Force, Fidelity Investments was up to bat.
