FactSet’s Acquisition of BISAM Latest in Long Line of Moves to Bolster Enterprise Solution

The Norwalk, Conn.-based vendor has made a string of acquisitions all in the name of creating the best enterprise-wide solution for portfolio management.

It’s been a busy 18 months for FactSet. The Norwalk, Conn.-based vendor has made a handful of key acquisitions to strengthen its offering, starting with execution management system (EMS) provider Portware in September 2015, followed by Vermilion Software and Cymba Technologies in November and September 2016, respectively, and, most recently, BISAM in March.
