Equinix: LD4 Power Outage Minor

The datacenter operator says only four clients were affected by the issue on Thursday morning.

At 7:38am, Equinix detected a networking incident at LD4 and notifiied affected customers that its engineers were evaluating the situation.

An hour later, Equinix contacted customers again to inform them that investigations had revealed that the service interruption was related to a faulty UPS (uninterruptible power supply) module, which was immediately scheduled for replacement. At 9:13am Equinix informed customers that the faulty module had been replaced and that all services were fully
