Saunders previously spent 17 years at Lloyd's List Intelligence, a provider of shipping news and analysis owned by business publisher Informa, most recently as commercial director for the Americas, prior to which he was sales director for Thailand at Reed Exhibitions, and also served as general manager for Houston at Reed Business Information-owned chemical industry news provider ICIS.

Based in New York, Saunders reports to recently appointed ClipperData chief operating officer Lee Andrews.
