With Bit-isle Buy, Equinix Beefs up Asia Datacenter Footprint

The acquisition will significantly bolster Equinix's local presence in Japan.

When completed, the deal will provide Equinix with five datacenters in Tokyo and one in Osaka, creating the fourth-largest datacenter operation in Japan, with campuses that can scale to support customers' future needs.
