Fincad Preps New Functionality; Ups Buy-Side, Asia Focus

Fincad's F3 analytics platform now includes more data and tools to support MBS valuations.

The new wizard─akin to Microsoft Word's paperclip tool─was originally built by Fincad's client services team to allow the vendor to quickly build customized valuation and risk models for customers. The vendor is now building the wizard into the next version of its F3 platform to help customers build their own models.

The new version will also feature better support for mortgage-backed securities (MBS). In response to client demand, Fincad will integrate data from specialized MBS data providers
