KCG BondPoint will integrate with Charles River IMS

Charles River IMS, an end-to-end solution that automates front- and middle-office investment management functions across asset classes, will begin bringing clients onto KCG BondPoint throughout 2015. Currently, KCG BondPoint links more than 400 firms to roughly 200,000 live and executable bids and offers daily.

The integration, according to the head of KCG BondPoint Bill Vulpis, will address a persistent problem in fixed income: liquidity. As discussed in several panels at last week's TabbForum conference on fixed income, and in the January issue of Waters, discovering liquidity is a problem nearly all firms are having in the fixed income market.

"Institutional clients are seeking new and innovative trading solutions to help them source fixed income liquidity without adding complicated new work flows," Vulpis says. "By partnering with Charles River, BondPoint is helping create smart solutions to help asset managers find the liquidity they need in a streamlined, seamless fashion."
