Crédit Agricole Launches Derivatives Post-Trade Utility with FIS

The solution will allow investment banks to share IT services and resources, reducing costs and increasing efficiency.

The platform will be based on CA CIB's existing technology and applications, with FIS taking responsibility for maintenance and future development. FIS will also have to standardize the platform to make it a utility for the industry.

European investment banks will be able to share the IT services offered by FIS for cross-asset trading, therefore reducing the cost of execution that goes with maintaining such platforms in-house.
