Kaplan Swaps Telx for Equinix

Kaplan joined Equinix from rival datacenter provider Telx, where he had served as general manager for financial services since March 2012.

Before joining Telx, Kaplan spent five and a half years as head of business development at low-latency data provider Activ Financial, prior to which he spent 11 years in marketing and business development roles in various business areas at Reuters, and also held product management and alliance management positions at Telerate and Dow Jones.

At Equinix, Kaplan reports to Rich O'Dea, vice president of Americas sales for financial services.
