Telx's Hutchinson Moves to Worldnet

Datacenter and telecoms design, implementation and migration advisory firm Worldnet Consulting has hired Julie Hutchinson as director of co-location and cloud services, to build Worldnet's co-location, managed hosting and cloud practice among trading firms, brokers, trading venues and market data providers.

Hutchinson was most recently strategic account director at datacenter and hosting provider Telx, which she joined in 2010 after holding a similar role at rival Equinix, prior to which she was senior account manager at Level 3 Communications, and earlier in her career served as global account manager at Savvis.

In her new role, Hutchinson reports to Worldnet president Shannon Grube.
