Cox Leads Web Financial Group's US Entry
Web Financial Group, a provider of integration solutions and managed market data portals, has hired former Interactive Data executive Luan Cox as managing director of North America, to run the vendor's new US office in New York-the first step in its global expansion beyond Europe, where it has offices in London, Paris and Munich, as well as its headquarters in Madrid.
Cox, who is currently also chief executive and founder of private equity and crowdsourcing market data startup Crowdnetic, was general manager of Interactive Data's Managed Solutions division between 2005 and 2011, prior to which she was executive vice president of global sales and marketing at Pinnacor and Stockpoint, and director of business development at Quote.com.
