UNX Hires BAML Veteran
Electronic broker and trading system provider UNX has hired Ruth Colagiuri as managing director, head of product management. In her new role, she will report directly to Thomas Kim, CEO of UNX, and oversee the global product management of the firm's UNX Catalyst execution management system (EMS). Part of Colagiuri's duties will be directing the continued growth of UNX's electronic trading capability across a number of asset classes and financial market participants as well as developing, marketing and delivering client-facing electronic trading technology for the buy side and sell side. Prior to joining UNX, Colagriuri was with Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BAML), where she was responsible for its suite of execution products, smart routing, crossing and direct market access (DMA) for equities, options and futures.
