Morgan Stanley’s AlphaWise, a research unit that services hedge funds managers through an online web portal, is leveraging alternative data to track the outbreak of Covid-19. The research business uses three core means of offering insights on the coronavirus outbreak, including web research, visualization tools, and market research.
