Vela Adds to Global Feed Handler Tally, Ups Asia Markets Coverage

The new feed handlers bring the total number of venues supported by Vela to more than 250.

In Asia, new feed handlers include coverage for the Australian Securities Exchange's ASX Trade24 derivatives market, the Korea Exchange's KRX cash and derivatives market and Kospi indexes, the National Stock Exchange of India's Capital Market equities feed, the Osaka Securities Exchange's Next J-Gate derivatives feed, the Singapore Exchange's SGX Titan equities and derivatives market feed, and the Taipei Exchange's Orion MD equities feed, covering its GreTai Securities Market.

In addition, Vela has rolled out new SREX market access gateways to support order flow to markets in Japan, India, Singapore and Hong Kong.

"Vela already supports APAC clients using our feed handler software, and we are looking to further expand into this region to enhance our market data coverage as client demand continues to increase," says Vela chief executive Jennifer Nayar.

In EMEA, Vela has added equities market feeds from Aquis Exchange, the Johannesburg Stock Exchange, and the SIX Swiss Exchange. Meanwhile, in North America, Vela has added support for BATS Global Markets' Hotspot foreign exchange feed and EDGX options market, Level 1 and Level 2 data from the Chicago Board Options Exchange, the Nasdaq Futures Exchange and the UTP, UQDF and UTDF consolidated feeds that include data from Nasdaq's equities markets, and TMX Group's Montreal Exchange.
