OneTickCloud is expected to provide more transparency, liquidity, and efficiency for investors using the exchange. It is a cloud-based service and does not depend on hardware and infrastructure.

The service, based on OneMarketData's flagship platform OneTick, provides on-demand analytics using global equities and futures tick history. Aequitas NEO will be able to create custom datasets from the data downloaded using the service.

Demand for products like OneTickCloud is gaining ground, OneMarketData director of sales Bryan Rubens tells WatersTechnology, as complexities in market data are increasing.

"The increased volumes, costs and complexities associated with capturing, storing and managing a firms' market and proprietary data infrastructure are forcing firms to look at alternatives," he says.

Rubens adds firms will also be able to use the platform as a foundation for additional requirements around transaction cost analysis, best execution, back-testing, and surveillance.
