Startup NewsHedge Unveils News Analytics Tools, Gains Patent
The startup vendor has been issued a patent to protect its audio-visual methods of representing news.
NewsHedge's technology enables the vendor to capture breaking news─including numbers releases, notable trading events, and social trends─and use text-to-speech technology to turn the data into an audio stream of news, dubbed NewsHedge Squawk.
In addition, NewsHedge has the ability to combine different data sources into customized headlines that incorporate news, market data─such as share price movement in response to the news─and social data, such as how the news or company is trending on
