Barchart Launches Grains Marketplace, Data Portal
Farmers can use the service to check real-time or delayed futures prices and charts, real-time agricultural news and weather data, forecasts and maps via desktop computers or mobile devices, and can submit offers to sell corn, soybeans and wheat crops to elevators.
"The physical grain marketplace is highly fragmented, and Grains.com will work to change that by centralizing where farmers can connect with grain elevators," says Barchart president Eero Pikat in a statement.
