Redline Adds IEX Data to Ticker Plant, Feed

Feed handler for the ATS will allow firms to use the data for analysis, smart order routing, or pricing.

Redline and IEX began working together in December 2013, when IEX launched as a dark pool, leveraging Redline's ticker plant technology in its True Price matching engine to calculate the best price for a stock based on real-time price data consolidated from displayed markets. IEX uses Redline's InRush software to source direct feeds from other exchanges to build an aggregated view of the market, which it uses as a reference to price stocks and for smart order routing.
