MDX Makes Enhancements To MDXT Connect
Platform to include server-based solutions.
Originally a desktop platform, clients were interested in components of the platform being made available on the server. A server-based cache was added to provide the basis of MDX Connect's new solutions for multi-vendor contributions and enterprise data sharing for the sell and buy side.
After a period of development in 2013, the served-based cache was originally introduced in March, Paul Watmough, CEO at MDXT, tells Sell-Side Technology.
"Some of the biggest technological hurdles we encountered were extending our platform to a server environment; adding a full resiliency model (required for customers sharing/contributing business critical data) and porting some of the core components to Linux (giving customers a choice of operating system)," Watmough says.
In addition to the continued evolution of MDX Connect, Watmough says MDXT is currently looking at extending its auditing capabilities in addition to adding calculation, derivations and monitoring modules.
