"[The] offering will greatly benefit clients by diversifying the methods of access to Singapore and international markets," says Tinku Gupta, head of market data and Access at SGX in a statement.

The addition of SGX is part of an ongoing effort at S&P Capital IQ to grow out its Asia-Pacific offering. For example, the vendor made its QuantFeed and QuantLink available through Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing's Orion program last week.

"We see continued expansion in this region as a logical reaction to growing opportunity and client interest in Asia," adds Stephane Leroy, vice president of real-time solutions at S&P Capital IQ.
