Thomson Reuters Claims Asia-Pac Central Bank Eikon Deals

Thomson Reuters has rolled out its Eikon next-generation desktop data platform at 18 central banks and government organizations -- including the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, the Reserve Bank of New Zealand, the Reserve Bank of India, the Nepal Rastra Bank, the Central Bank of the Republic of China (Taiwan), the State Bank of Vietnam, the Bank of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, and the Royal Monetary Authority of Bhutan -- across the Asia-Pacific region in recent months.
Officials say Asian clients are among the most active users of Eikon, which is now deployed at client sites in 27 countries in the region.
The announcement follows a similar deal between Thomson Reuters and the European Central Bank and 18 other European central banks (IMD, March 4).
