Northern Trust Adds Risk, Performance Info to Data Direct Platform
According to Craig Tome, vice president in the firm's investment risk & analytical services (IRAS) product group, Northern Trust compiles performance data of about 300 large US institutional investment plans with a combined asset value of approximately $760 billon.
The IRAS group then compiles that data into peer groups segmented by large corporate pensions, foundations & endowments and public funds. IRAS has more than 75 universes to compare.
