Frankfurt, Germany

Interactive Data, making the announcement from Frankfurt, says the service will be distinguished by high-quality data and pricing assessments for seldomly traded instruments, advanced rationalization, and increased transparency. It will provide calculations for minimum capital requirement (MCR), solvency capital requirement (SCR), and quantitative reporting templates (QRTs) as well as the directive's Pillar III rules.

"Fulfillment of the Solvency II Directive is one of the most important requirements for European insurers. They must not only utilize existing IT infrastructure as much as possible, but also the right balance between internal IT applications and specific external technology offerings, to meet the reporting requirements both quantitatively and qualitatively," says Nicolas Michellod, a senior analyst from Celent providing comment for Interactive Data.
