London-based equity brokerage and technology vendor Olivetree Financial Group has hired former Data Explorers and Morgan Stanley exec Charlotte Wall as managing director and global head of product sales to support sales of its upcoming OTAS data and trading signal platform designed to help traders and portfolio managers optimize trading and risk.

Wall, who takes up the new role in November, was most recently managing director and head of sales at Markit Securities Finance, which she joined as a result of Markit's acquisition of securities lending data vendor Data Explorers earlier this year (IMD, April 9), where she was managing director and head of European and Asian sales, prior to which she spent almost 16 years in Morgan Stanley's European equity financing business.

At Olivetree, she reports to chairman and chief executive Daryn Kutner.
