BM&F CTO Castro Moves to Interactive Brokers Brazil

Brazilian exchange BM&F Bovespa's former chief technology officer Marcio Castro recently left the exchange to join Interactive Brokers last month as director of operations, responsible for all front-office, back-office and finance functions at the firm's Brazil office in São Paulo.

As CTO at BM&F, Castro oversaw the implementation of a completely new exchange matching system based on CME Group's Globex trading platform, prior to which he held various senior IT roles at the exchange, including IT
