BvD Adds Fitch Bank Credit Data to Bankscope, FACT

Dutch company information vendor Bureau van Dijk Electronic Publishing (BvD) has begun publishing credit ratings and research from Fitch Solutions—the data and technology arm of ratings agency Fitch Ratings—via its Bankscope database of bank financial data, and plans to offer a flexible version of the model via its FACT credit risk data repository later this year.

The dataset comprises Fitch’s Bank Credit Model, launched last October (IMD, Oct. 3, 2011), which provides daily updates of Fitch
