SunGard Implements Chinese, Local Language Displays for MarketMap
SunGard will this week release a new version of its MarketMap data terminal, which supports the Unicode standard for encoding and representing text in multiple languages, enabling users to display content in Simplified Chinese, as the vendor responds to opportunities resulting from increasing client demand for local data among Chinese trading firms and investors.
Users can now choose to have the entire terminal—including all navigation menus and market data—displayed in Chinese characters, while
