Reg Compliance Not Main Driver for Risk Data Improvement, says JWG Survey

Regulatory compliance is not considered to be the sole driver behind the need to improve risk data in financial institutions, according to a survey carried out by regulatory think tank JWG released today. Only 32% of the 120 professionals, from more than 45 financial institutions, including suppliers and supervisors that took part in the survey, said regulatory compliance was a main factor behind this need.
