SunGard Unveils the Fame Name
WALTAM, Mass.-SunGard has finished integrating its real-time PowerData software suite and Fame time-series database platform, and is rebranding the software and business unit under the Fame moniker.
The business unit itself, previously known as SunGard Data Management Solutions, has been renamed SunGard Fame.
"It's the right time now to put everything under the same umbrella," says Janet Crowley, president of SunGard's Fame business.
Earlier this year, SunGard unveiled the first of the rebrands
