Bank of Scotland Achieves 98% Accuracy

SINGAPORE-In five years, Bank of Scotland has grown its reference data unit from one to 83 employees in a bid to improve data quality, according to David Miller, director of credit systems, Bank of Scotland and Douglas Tully, associate director, Bank of Scotland, in a presentation at the Asia Pacific Financial Information Summit in Singapore.

The Edinburgh-based firm initiated the project in 2002 to "escape the cycle of poor data quality" and create a customer-centric model across the business
