Teknekron Wins 300 Seats At Bank Of Montreal, Ousting Micro, But RFP Revision Spares Telerate

Bank of Montreal has chosen Teknekron Software Systems Inc.'s Teknekron Information Bus (TIB) trading room platform to support its 300 treasury traders worldwide. The TIB beat out the digital data distribution system offerings of Dow Jones Telerate, Market Vision Corp., Micrognosis Inc. and Teknekron's parent Reuters. Bank of Montreal's TIB rollout will commence in January of 1996 at the bank's new trading room in Toronto; the platform will thereafter be deployed to the bank's trading operations
