DLJ's Desire to Relocate May Force Digital Decision

Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette Inc. is weighing plans to move its fixed-income and equity trading rooms from its current 140 Broadway headquarters to 277 Park Ave. The move gives DLJ an opportunity finally to roll out the digital data distribution system it has long sought; that platform may ultimately support more than 1,000 traders and support staff.
