EJV Announces UNIVU
THIS WEEK'S LEAD STORIES
EJV Partners L.P. last Friday pre-announced UniVu, its UNIX-based analytic workstation product. D. Bruce Peterson, EJV president and COO said UniVu would be launched commercially in six to nine months. UniVu has been in beta test at three partner firms for two weeks. Sun Microsystems Inc. workstations will be UniVu's standard hardware platform.
Peterson confirmed that Salomon Brothers Inc.'s Yieldbook and Lotus Development Corp.'s 1-2-3 spreadsheet would form the basis of UniVu's non-proprietary
